Laurent Souloumiac, new CEO of Glowbl

Laurent Souloumiac has been appointed CEO of Glowbl and thus succeeds Mathieu Labey, Glowbl’s founder. Glowbl was founded in 2011 with the ambition to make collaborative group video conferences more human and to share contents in real time.

Let us recall that Allianz France, leading insurance company, has chosen Glowbl in 2015 for its 10 000 coworkers to communicate internally and externally. Glowbl has also been chosen by France Digital University (FUN) to hold its interactive MOOCs.

19 years of digital experience

Holding an engineer degree from Ecole Polytechnique, Laurent Souloumiac has started his professional career in the telecommunications sector as Manager for the Minitel Network at France Telecom. Afterwards he became Technical and Community Link Operations Manager at US West in Denver, USA.

At France Telecom Laurent successively held the positions of Digital Cable and Satellite Television Project Manager, Marketing Director for Directories, then Founder and Director of Voila at Wanadoo.

He continued his career at Socpresse as Delegated Director of Multimedia Activities before he became CEO of France Interactive Televisions who produces all kind of interactive contents for the France Television group and hold this position for more than 9 years.

In September 2011 he took the lead of the Tourism and Truck product line at Group Michelin.
