25 students of the INP Grenoble, specializing in topics related to IRT Nanoelec, connected from different countries to follow a training session about the editorial of CVs and the internship research in the US.
This innovative and digital experience was set up by the French American Chamber of Commerce San Francisco (FACCSF) with the support of IRT Nanoelec. The session was held by a coach based in the region, member of the FACCSF and sponsor of the ” Recruitment Center”.
The students were connected from France and Australia while speaker Nicolas Bourdin presented live from San Francisco Bay. He was able to present himself properly thanks to our new Spotlight feature that is now available on Glowbl LiveStages. As founder and director of Bsharp.io, he shared the golden rules how to write a CV to apply for a job in the US. With the Doc Reader application Nicolas was able to present concrete examples of good CVs. To conclude the intervention, students could ask questions per live chat and so exchange directly and in real time with the speaker.
This digital coaching session was not only a huge success for the students who were very pleased with the selected format but also for the organizers of the training who have been accompanied all along the planning by Glowbl’s responsible for e-learning projects. Anne Nogier, Deputy Director of the INP Grenoble Training Program, shares her impressions with us:
“The session was extremely profitable for students who are searching an internship on the international level. The platform Glowbl whose competitive advantage is its interactivity, allowed students to learn in an entertaining and attractive way how to write a CV and to search a internship. Furthermore, Nicolas Bourdin understood using the right tools for the training and met the students’ expectations who were able to become active via instant messaging.”
Laurence Fabre, Deputy Director of FACCSF explains that “We are very happy to be able to connect our members of Grenoble INP, Glowbl, and the coach Nicolas Bourdin to offer a unique experience. One of FACCSF’s missions is to promote and develop this kind of interactions within our network“.
The training session is part of the IRT Nanoelec Program that has received the help of the French government within the “Investing for the Future” program under the reference ANR-10-AIRT-05.
We thank Grenoble INP, IRT Nanoelec and the FACCSF for making this event possible.
